SO i moved apartments today. It was horrible. Moved to the building next door to mine, however, it’s on the 3rd floor so going from 2nd floor to 3rd floor thats a bucnh of stairs and numerous trips. I also wasn’t feeling great which just added to the horribleness. Soemthing about moving when you want to puke just isn’t enjoyable. When I got here the place was a DISASTER. the cleaning crew hadn’t been in yet and it was clear guys lived here and hadn’t cleaned in over a month. It smelt, had mold, dirty dishes, garbage just gross. I had to call the front desk and demand that there be a cleaning crew. Luckily the guy showed up pretty fast and cleaned the entire thing in about 45 minutes it was rather impressive. I also now have internet again and am all moved in. One of my roomies is actually also from Windsor, Ontario which i think si pretty cool. I work tomorrow and was suppose to go out tonight but I think a friend and I may just go see a movie instead of going to the bar. TOOO TIRED. Stayed at the commons last night with several friends and had Apple-Bees breakfast then to MK with a friend (Eddy) for a bit then moved.
Life is pretty crazy and busy but overall kind of boring to relay ever detail.

Forced Extensions

Its been 4 days since I’ve blogged for that I’m sorry. I’ve been busy and my computer stinks so I hate turning it on. The weather here has stunk as we’ve had a tropical storm going on around us and thus it’s been crazy amounts of rain. Yesterday it didn’t really rain so what did the brilliant people at Magic Kingdom decide to do??? Extend park hours by an hour. Which translates to anyone working after 8pm getting a forced extension. Instead of getting off at 1030 I got off at 1130. I know what you’re thinking an hour isn’t much but a lot of the park guests didn’t know about the extended hours thus the park was really quiet which meant not a lot of work. Which again I know what you’re thinking. Isn’t it great when you don’t have much to do? NO! It just gets boring. Its about finding that perfect level of work that keeps you busy but not too busy.
In other news I have the next two days off, I get paid today. thus later I’m ordering books online because I’m almost out of things to read and my book nerd side is coming out while I’m down here. I’m tempted to get a Koobo or something for down here because I am going through SOOO many books. I’m up to 6 now.

I find it easiest to go backwards through my days so I’ll start with yesterday.
I woke up slightly later on in the day. I was going to update my blog but in the middle of updating my friend Marie-Eve messaged me and I headed over to the Commons to visit with her, Pierre-Luc and Eddy. It was a nice little visit. We were suppose to go into the pool but it started raining when we were hanging by the pool and I had to leave soon so that I could go to work. It was Extra Magic Hours so I worked from 6pm - 3am. It wasn’t oo bad but it was SUPER boring. There aren’t many guests in the park yet during EMH so theres a lack of people to talk to and a lack of work to do. After work I went out to breakfast with Abbey, Emily, Alex, Mike and Brooke. It was nice and I finally got my Ihop pancakes that I wanted. I got home around 5/530 and went straight to bed.
Saturday was a fantastic day! I had the day off. I started by just hanging around the pool with Pierre-Luc, then met up with Emily and Alex and the four of us headed to Cici’s for lunch. We ate tooo much and felt really gross afterwards but as always it was pretty decent and cheap! Folloing Cici’s I headed to Cast Connection with Emily and Alex i found a few things I wanted but am holding off buying due to lack of funds right now. The girls had to go to work so I headed to Epcot to go on a character hunt and visit with friends. My friend Crys was working with Aladdin and Jasmine so I said hi to her and met with them, I also got the Beast, Belle, Snow White Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Donald. Overall it was a successful character hunt day and I was content. I have a friend who’s good friends with Donald so it was really exciting to see Donald and made it extra magical. After Epcot I headed home and then over to my friend Marie-Eves. We had a bit of a pre-drink then went to a bar called Cowboys. It was A BLAST! I think what made it so great was the van we took too and from the bar. Its a giant 13 person van and in it was myself, 2 guys from Norway, girls named Sam, Sammy, Stacey, Virginie, Natasha then Marie-Eve, Elio, Pierre-Luc, Steven, Erin. It’s driven my Kojak who’s really popular with people down here it was super cheap and he had Kareoke in the van. It was ridiculous. Just imagine 13+ intoxicated people singing and dancing in a van. I really enjoyed cowboys because although they managed to line dance to everything it was country music <3.

Friday I had the day off I visited Magic Kingdom for a bit but overall I really didn’t do too much. I had a really lazy day. I actually don’t remember too much about it so I can’t tell you too much about it. Friday seems like forever ago now.

Now I think I’ll take a nap before I have to leave at 130 for work. It’s also storming which I’m not happy about. I don’t want to walk in the rain. Luckily it has some time to stop before I need to go anywhere.

Life has been pretty uneventful. It’s been a tough couple of days just dealing with some stuff back home with friends and then also drama that other friends here brought with them. I had a horrible restroom shift yesterday. Almost called Childre Protective Services a couple of times because parents are idiots and don’t love their children enough. My restroom literally had a line from the moment I walked into it at 2:30 until wishes at 10pm. It was HORRRIBLE. I seriously reloaded over 20 things of toilet paper (which is saying something because they were all full when i started), 8+ of paper towels, refilled soap soo much I went through over 2 gallons of liquid soap. I brought out trash 3 times. But probably should of 4 or 5 I just didn’t have the time. Luckily everywhere in the East was crazy last night so my manager only checked up on me right before close at 11:45pm so she didn’t see the chaotic horrible mess it was.
When I got home from work my friend Emily had made me “Happiness” brownies so I headed over to her place, got to visit with friends and got brownies that made me feel a bit better.
Today I’m just having a me day. Woke up lateish headed to the pool for an hour or so, went to walmart spent too much money but I got groceries to last me awhile and I got 2 new books. I’ve officially finished the first Hunger Games book and thought it was pretty decent and I’ve started on the second one.
Now I’m just deciding what to do. I kind of want to go to Downtown Disney and get Earl of Sandwich but I”m trying to actually save money this year. After rent on my pay check this week I only had $100 an since I bought groceries and such I don’t really have spending money this week. Which stinks. Perhaps I”ll start saving next week. I could jsut eat at home and then venture off to a park for a bit.  TOOO MANY OPTIONS.

Sorry I haven’t updated in a bit. I’m still alive so no worries there. Yesterday (Wednesday) a lot of people had to go get their social security  luckily i did not but they all had the day off. We went to Blizzard Beach in the morning which was fun. There was a lot of us so we ended up breaking up into smaller groups. Chilled out on the lazy river, swam in the wave pool, went on the family ride and then swam through the lazy river. I then went to work for several hours. I was originally excited to be at work because I was suppose to be in Fantasyland however, I got switched to Tomorrowland and I was unimpressed to say the least. But everything worked out okay and it was a pretty slow day. Came home hit up the hottub and hung out with several friends.

Tuesday woke up met Emily and Elio at the pool Alex joined us then went to Magic Kingdom to play for awhile. Went to work and had restrooms it was super easy. Went to Steak n Shake with Abbey. We were suppose to be there with some others but they bailed. Afterwards I met up with Emily and Steven at the pool. Elio had been off all day and we were discussing it so we decided to make him brownies. So at 230am Emily, Steven and Alex came over to my place and we made brownies (by we I mean Emily) and we all just sat around and talked until almost 4am.  It was fabulous.

Before Tuesday i don’t remember too much. Not much else has happened. Today I’m just taking it easy I work a 9 hour shift and need to leave teh house in about an hour. Time to go get food, shower and change.

Yesterday was my first shift alone. It went okay I wasn’t really expecting it to go badly. I started out as breaker and then picked up the position of recycler. I find it amusing that on my first shift I pick up recycle because I didn’t have it at all last year. It’s pretty easy you just do laps around the entire east side. I think I found all the recycle cans but I’m not really sure but they didn’t have one of the cheat sheets telling me where all the cans are so its their fault if I didn’t get all the cans. I didn’t see my managers or coordinators at all yesterday which was kind of weird. There also werent many CPs working.
I also need to get adjusted to this late night working thing again. I was so tired at one point yesterday I was falling asleep as I walked. Normally staying up late isn’t that hard but I got my body used to waking up early and going to bed early. Hopefully I’ll be adjusted soon as I work until 3am tonight.

For now though I’m off to the pool with Pierre-Luc.
